MySQL for Developers

This course teaches the student how to create a Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) using MySQL. The student will be instructed on how to create a new database and maintain it. Once we have created a database we will utilize it through standard SQL queries for updates, inserting new data and deleting data. MySQL is a popular RDBMS used in the Open Source Community that is very cost effective.

    This course is designed for individuals that are new to the administration of a MySQL database.

     

    Student will be able to administer a MySQL RDBMS for their company and understand how to mine information from this database. This course provides the foundation to build on more advanced topics incorporating MySQL into 3 tier solutions.
